The Ameristar II Riverboat in Council Bluffs, Iowa is the only AAA Four-Diamond riverboat casino in the entire nation. Also awarded the American Hotel and Lodging Association's "Star of the Industry Award" for customer service, Ameristar II is the state of Iowa's largest riverboat to date. With its grand opening on January 19, 1996, the 37,000 square foot casino houses over 1500 slot machines and 46 table games.
